Canines in the Valley!

We are excited to share our market with everyone who has the same  mutual  love and passion for their pets!
We expect all doggies to be on leash and up-to-date on shots and licenses, have fun socializing with other doggies, human conversations & meeting Vendors.

Opening Day

Join us for our first Farmers' Market of the Season.

We will once again be located in the Christ Reformed church parking lot on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 7 PM.

There will be bakers, produce and fruit growers, local meats, as well as crafters and artisans, and prepared foods!

Many of our great vendors are returning this season, and you'll see some new faces as well.

One new vendor this year will be selling Kettle Corn to snack on while you shop, or to take home for later.

The Middletown Farmers' Market is now closed for the season.  As we say goodbye until 2017, we would like to thank all of our wonderful vendors, community supports, and most importanly, our customers for our most successful season ever!

Kids' Day @ The Market

Everyone is invited to bring both their 2 and 4 legged kids to the market this week.

All dogs must be on leashes and up-to-date on shots and licenses.

Kids' Day @ The Market

Please join us this Thursday, May 19 for our first Kids' Day at the Market for the 2016 season!

Children visiting the market will be invited to decorate a flower pot to take home with them, plant a flower, and learn about plants and gardening.

Dogs Love to Run...Jump...Sit...Snack! with TrendSETTER Treats!

TrendSETTER Treats brings to the market healthy, all-natural, gluten-free and sugar-free doggie treats. All of the ingredients they use are human-grade, 100% USDA Organic, and researched for to add nutritional value to canine diets. In addition to their pre-determined menu, they will research special requests in order to make snacks based on specific dietary needs of your canine companion.

Pleasant Pond Farm Provides Plentiful Produce!

Tomatoes ranging from cherry, to medium, to the large beefsteak tomatoes are always popular from Pleasant Pond Farm. Most of their varieties are heirloom varieties.  Also, a big hit last year was Pleasant Pond Farm's salad mix containing different types of lettuce to provide a striking mix of colors. It's also great tasting.

April Market Message

We are so excited that in just one week from today, the Middletown Farmers' Market will open for the 2016 season.

When you visit the market next week, you will see some new faces.  There are several new vendors this year, and many returning vendors as well.

Fresh Herbs and Garden Transplants From Penny's Plants

5 Year market member, Penny's Plants will be returning again for the 2016 season offering potted herb gardens, individual herb plants, and fresh cut herbs. In addition, seasonal vegetable transplants are available and ready to plant. Penny's Plants also proudly offers wedding and floral arrangements for any special event.

The Garden at Mount Lock Farm Helps Our Market Grow!

Stephanie Guy and her Mount Lock Farm will be joining the market for the first time this year.  She describes Mount Lock Farm as a small homestead with a flock of free ranging chickens and a large garden, locationed in Sharpsburg, Maryland.

She plans to sell eggs and a variety of produce.  She will also be selling tomato plants during the opening weeks of the market.  

Stephanie tells us she is excited for her first year participating in the market.  She cannot wait to share the bounty from her garden and her chicken coop.

2016 OPENING DAY

You are cordially invited to join us for opening day of the market.  Our vendors are eager to see everyone.  Please keep in mind that during the first week of May produce will be limited, but you're sure to find lots of live plants, local meats, raw honey, and handmade crafts.

We're already looking forward to the 2016 season which returns in May.

Despite the dreary forecast, Kathy B. tells us she plans at the market today, September 10.  New this week are Apple handpies!  She will also have cookies, brownies, palmiers and Nutella handpies.  

Plus be sure to check out rings form HaleysJewels, now in smaller sizes, and more rainbow beaded crochet bracelets.

Pumpkin Bread...yum!Fall is almost here, and you know what that means...

It just wouldn't be Autumn without your favorite Pumpkin Flavored EVERYTHING!

Beginning Thursday, August 27, 2015, Aunt Linda's Gluten Free Bakery will be featuring Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread.

Pumpkin Pies will also be available by pre-order due to requiring refridgeration.
