Following a very busy first month, our special events continue into the month of June with so much to see and do. This market continues its commitment to “bring you the best of everything!”
The Middletown Farmers Market opened for the season on May 2, and now several weeks into the 2019 season, the Middletown Farmers Market has been setting record numbers for customers visiting the market as well as for the number of vendors participating each week. The market is held every Thursday afternoon, rain or shine, in the Christ Reformed United Church of Christ Parking lot at 12 South Church Street, in historic Middletown, Maryland.
Serving up true farm-to-fork style foods, made from locally sourced meats, veggies, and fruits from farmers in Washington and Frederick counties. Enjoy delicious food that also supports your local sustainable farms!

Dylan Banker and Breanna Ranniger are new to Farmers Markets. However, as former residents of Middletown, they know that the Middletown Farmers Market connects people to all the great local products that so many amazing farmers and producers have.
Barbara of Sew and Sew Forth was inspired by her grandmother who would see an outfit in a magazine and then make it for herself. Not only could could she recreate an outfit, but she would also make a hat to match!
Jennifer Carpenter completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 through Sol Yoga in Frederick, Maryland. Currently, she is running several other community-based classes, with the hope that making yoga accessible to those that may not otherwise set foot in a studio.

There are always many exciting reasons to visit this farmers market, and this season, there are more special events planned than ever before. In fact, every week in May has a bonus reason for you to come!
It was around 2011 that Faerie Springs Farm joined the Middletown Farmers Market and introduced us all to the awesomeness of Swiss Chard. After a few years away from the market, they are returning this year to introduce us all to their artisinal handmade goat and cow cheeses.
Following the retirement of our long-time hot food vendor, we will have our first new Food Truck of the season—Whistle Punk Farm Food Truck. They will be serving up true farm-to-fork style foods, made from locally sourced meats, veggies, and fruits from farmers in Washington and Frederick counties.
The Vine Garden Plant Outlet opened to the public in 2014 to fill a niche in naturally grown vegetable plants and herbs as well as offering florist quality annuals, perennials, mums and hanging baskets at outlet prices, and began participating in the Middletown Farmers Marking in 2016.
Being at Middletown Farmers Market is new and exciting for Jenerations Famiily Farm this year. Providing the Middletown community with organic produce will be great. Also offering CSA shares with more variety than you will find on the tables! They look forward to joining the community at the market!
Just Baked, LLC is just over a year old but has been a dream of owner Justine Crandell's for as long as she can remember. Selling a variety of baked goods including, Cookies, Pies, Brownies, Dessert Bars, Muffins & Breads, everything is made from scratch and Justine's love for baking gets put into every single order.
