Homemade Crafts and Baked Goods from Wilma's Corner

As you wander the market, you may often notice artisan Joyce Plunkett enjoying the shade under the Wilma’s Corner tent while she works her loom to create woven rag rugs and place mats.  Made from recycled fabrics, these loomed items are durable, reversible, and washable.  In addition to her popular 26 by 34 inch rug, Joyce will be offering a new even larger sized rug this year, measuring approximately 28 by 45 inches.  Did you know each rug takes between 25 and 40 hours to create?

Joyce also creates hand-sewn customizable bunting banners for all occasions.  These banners are a fun way to decorate any room, office, or outside event.  Many customers have them customized with embroidered names for gives, business displays, barn décor, and children’s bedrooms.  The possibilities seem to be endless.

Wilma's Corner has many other homemade crafts available as well, and Joyce would be glad to talk with you about how they are created.

When Joyce isn’t busy crafting, she enjoys jam-making and baking, and proudly uses eggs from fellow vendor Poplar Spring Acres and fruit from Blue Faerie Farm
As with crafts, Wilma’s Corner welcomes you to pre-order baked goods to be picked-up at the market.
